i think what makes the holidays so special is when traditions are formed and kept...
one i was married into was every christmas eve miss jane makes a special cake and then we all sing happy birthday to baby jesus. say what you will but this remains the reason for the season...christ
we also read the nativity...
so glad that our parents are so close to each other so we can enjoy both sides
